Ilala Palm Park is a tranquil caravan and camping destination set on a spacious 35-hectare property on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, west of Mbazwana in the heart of Zululand. Surrounded by grassland and sand forest, the park enjoys a mild climate and is rich in birdlife, making it an ideal retreat for nature lovers and those seeking peace and space close to the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
The park offers six grassy campsites, each with private ablutions, a scullery, braai facilities, hot water, and 220V power points, with most sites providing good natural shade. Guests can cool off in the swimming pool or explore the many nearby adventure activities, including diving at Sodwana, freshwater fishing at Jozini Dam, and saltwater fishing at destinations such as Kosi Bay, Cape Vidal, and St Lucia. With several wildlife reserves nearby, Ilala Palm Park is perfectly positioned for both relaxation and outdoor exploration.
